The Pro Detailing UK Ceramic Coating Process

In order to protect your vehicle with ceramic coating, it is necessary to first undergo a detailing process. This will include a thorough wash and decontamination of the paintwork, wheels, arches, interior, and any other necessary areas, followed by machine polishing to achieve the desired level of finish such as enhancement, minor, or major. After the paintwork has been polished, it must be free of polish or oil residue. This is done by wiping down the panels with alcohol to ensure that they are completely clean and ready for the coating to bond properly.

All work is performed at our dedicated and purpose-built detailing studio to ensure the highest level of service. After the coating has been applied, it requires a 12-hour drying time in controlled conditions of temperature and humidity before it can be taken away. The coating will be 90% cured but it takes up to 3 weeks for it to reach full structural integrity, hardness, and resistance, and be 100% effective. During this time, it is important to avoid washing the vehicle for 14 days after the application.
